1. Permitted Use

You may use the names "Vailux" and "VailuxOS" without prior written permission if:

• You report factually about the project (e.g. in news articles, forums, or blogs).
• You link to the official website vailux.de.
• You describe the compatibility of your own software/hardware (e.g. "Compatible with VailuxOS").

2. Prohibited Use

The following uses require prior written consent by the board of Vailux n.e.V.:

• Name Management: The use of "Vailux" as a main component of your own product or company name (e.g. "Vailux-Edition", "Vailux-Cloud").
• Official Appearance: Designing websites that give the impression of being an official presence of the association.
• Commercial Exploitation: Selling fan articles or merchandising featuring the Vailux lettering or logo.
• Domains: Registering domains containing the brand "Vailux".

3. Labeling Requirement

When using the trademark in official publications or software descriptions, we request the following notice:

"Vailux and VailuxOS are protected trademarks of Vailux n.e.V."
