In order to make the community experience as pleasant as possible for all users, rules must define behavior within the community. For most people, these rules should not cause any problems if they behave reasonably and socially anyway. Unfortunately, in every community there are a few bad apples whom the administrators must penalize if they violate the rules. We do not do this because we enjoy annoying other people - we enjoy supporting honest users during their stay in the community and helping them.
Terms of Use
PRINCIPLES
For all these rules, the following notices apply:
This list is by no means a rigid set of rules that users and community administration can rely on 100%.
Offenses are always matters of interpretation and will only be penalized if they are truly worthy of punishment.
Just because something is written here and somehow matches an entry or content does not guarantee that it actually violates our rules.
Under certain circumstances, our administrators may also penalize offenses that are not listed here but are nevertheless prohibited according to our Terms and Conditions.
Anyone who violates our rules too often or particularly severely will be deleted by the administrators.
EVERY PERSON MUST BE RESPECTED
No insults!
Any insults are prohibited. It does not matter whether you were provoked beforehand or only want to defend yourself because you were insulted. If you are insulted, you can report any entry directly to us and put the user on your ignore list.
No threats!
Basically, the same applies here as with insults. Threats are also prohibited, regardless of whether you refer to the internet or outside of it.
No sexual harassment!
Sexual harassment is penalized particularly severely by us, and should we find harassment against minors, we will forward it directly to the authorities. We do not tolerate our platform being abused for such things!
No hate groups!
This includes groups directed against individual people, whereby it is not decisive whether this person is registered in the community. Groups against football teams, music groups, towns or similar general "anti-groups" are, however (subject to reservation), permitted.
PROTECTION OF MINORS
No pornography!
This includes images or videos of (completely or partially) naked people where genitals are visible or who perform sexual acts. Likewise, texts containing pornographic content are not suitable for minors and are therefore prohibited.
No glorification of violence!
Any content that glorifies or depicts violence in any way is prohibited. This also includes content regarding hooliganism, depictions of weapons aimed at people or the viewer, brutality against humans or animals, and the depiction of dead people or animals.
No politically extremist content!
We do not tolerate any content in the community whose message represents an extremist direction (both right-wing and left-wing). This also includes "Antifa" groups that are strongly oriented towards the left. Users who post such content in the community will receive a warning with a penalty from us and may be deleted immediately.
No racism!
Intolerance towards other countries, people, or cultures is also absolutely prohibited here and will be severely penalized.
SPAM
No point spam and unwanted point trading!
The purpose of the community is not to trade points, and this is not supported by us either. If a user has a note saying "No point trading!" in their guestbook, then this must be respected. The community is primarily a communication platform, and that is how most users want to use it.
No chain emails!
Chain emails are one of the most annoying types of spam messages on the internet. Regardless of whether you are superstitious or just want to be nice, according to our Terms and Conditions, chain emails are strictly prohibited in the community and are generally penalized by the administrators.
No click games!
Any links that attempt to get the most clicks through as many visitors as possible are prohibited here and will be penalized as spam.
No advertising!
Commercial advertising is fundamentally not allowed and will be severely penalized. The community will not offer a platform for this, as such direct offers only annoy users. Even advertising for one's own offers, which are not necessarily commercial, may not be distributed without permission. Our system offers several ways to place classified ads.
No other spam!
Other messages that do not fit into the categories mentioned so far but are nevertheless spam will also be penalized by us. We do not tolerate any abuse of the community for distributing annoying messages!
COPYRIGHT
Images of others only with permission!
Images in which you yourself and only you yourself can be seen may be posted in the community without further ado. As soon as another person (this includes good friends and family) can be seen on an image, this other person must be asked for permission to publish the image. Likewise, a request by a depicted person to remove the image must be complied with. Failure to comply with these rules will result in the administrators removing the image and possibly issuing a penalty.
Do not steal graphics from others!
Stealing graphics (images, animated graphics) from other users and groups will also be penalized by us, as it represents a clear violation of copyright law. If you like an image, you must first ask the person who created it if you can use it yourself. Excluded from this is content that was simply taken from the internet or other sources and not created by oneself.
No protected videos!
We offer the possibility to embed videos from other platforms directly into the community. However, this excludes all videos that are protected in any way by the copyright holder. Among others, these are music videos, episodes of TV series, feature films, etc. Just because this content is (still) available on external platforms does not mean that it is allowed here. Our other rules on minor protection also apply here.
PROFILE & DATA
Only one account (in all of Vailux)!
Each person may only own one account in the community. A second account in another region is also not allowed. Since all communities are connected with each other, this is also not necessary. You may only be registered once. There is no exception to this rule!
No accounts for animals or toddlers!
Just like a second account, accounts for pets (e.g. dog, cat, guinea pig) are fundamentally prohibited. Even though toddlers or babies count as people, the community may only be used if you can register independently and use the community yourself. We generally recommend using the community only from the age of 14. It is not permissible for parents to create an account for their child. There are no exceptions for this either!
Only one person per account!
Each account may only be used by one person. Two or more people are not allowed to share an account. Therefore, accounts for e.g. school classes or a business are not permissible.
Provide real first and last name!
You may only use the community if you provide your correct and full name (first and last name). This, like all other rules, is part of our Terms and Conditions and must be adhered to. The administrators may and will delete accounts with false name details without warning.
Provide real age!
Stating the correct age is strictly required both out of fairness towards other users and for various reasons of functional limitation. Not all functions may be carried out by every age group, and if a user cheats with their age, this will be penalized by the administrators.
No (automated or otherwise) scripts!
Any scripts used to influence the functions of the page are strictly prohibited and will lead to the immediate termination of the user agreement. In particularly severe cases, we will also initiate legal action.
No automatic reloading of the page!
Artificially staying online through automatic reloading of the page is just as prohibited as automated scripts. Violating this rule will be severely penalized and may lead to immediate exclusion from the community. Artificially staying online is absolutely unfair towards honest users.
No manipulation of points!
The unauthorized manipulation of a point balance is strictly prohibited according to our Terms and Conditions and will be punished with direct exclusion from the community, just like the two preceding points.
